We were both born in Barcelona, attended high school together and enjoyed the Barcelona of the 70s and 80s, a city discovering itself and its many possibilities. After being apart for twenty years, we found each other again and started a lifelong journey in Australia. Teresa holds a masters degree in intercultural communication and conflict resolution, she has taught Spanish language and culture for many years, is an accredited Spanish Interpreter, a student and observer of Spanish culture, language and as a trained chef, of course, Spanish gastronomy. Elias is currently completing a commercial cookery qualification and shares that love for yeterday's and today's food from Spain.
Our initial project wanted to be a celebration of the colours, scents, sceenerings, peculiarities and complexities, of Spain and its various Autonomic Regions. We want to share with Australia the traditions, history and culture in the form of unforgettable gastronomic experiences and events. We are passionate about our food, our languages, our cultures. We constantly research to create the most luscious flavours and memorable experiences. Because, ultimately, we want to share with Australia the places and flavours that framed and tainted our youth and coloured our memories.
